In this series, I aimed to recreate the fragility of eucalyptus leaves found in Jamieson, Victoria. A very old gum tree formed the basis of this artwork with its vast array of leaf types - some were brittle and had fallen to the ground, others were new and green.

This work is made up of a variety of lino blocks. Some have been hand-carved, some carved by Dremel, and some have been etched using the caustic soda method. The ink colours used were created to represent the various stages of a leaf - from when it first grows to when it dries on the ground.
